Russian translation of my first book "Life Lived not in Vain" will be available in July 2007. I am working on its presentation in Almaty, Kazakhstan where I reside now. This book is a documentary novel devoted to my husband Azat Mashurov with whom I spent 35 years of my life.
Currently, I am working on my second novel. It is a work of fiction, but heavily based on the true events of my own life and life of others who I met in my life. I want the world to know what it is like to be a woman in Central Asia, to be a mother, a sister, a daughter, a wife and be happy in these difficult times since the Soviet Revolution, through the World War II, Perestroyka and current events.
